Help with Note My
Note My has no account and no sign-in, so there is nothing to recover and nobody to verify. If something is not behaving, the fastest route is usually a guide; if it isn't, write to us.

What we know about you
Nothing. The app collects no data and has no analytics. The app contains no networking code of its own; the only network activity is performed by Apple’s own system services, to establish purchases and transactions state. The Privacy Policy says so in detail.
Common questions
How do I get help if something goes wrong?
Email help@notemy.app. Because the app has no telemetry and no crash reporting, we see nothing unless you tell us — so the more precisely you can describe what you did and what happened, the faster it gets fixed.
I lost work. Can I get it back?
Probably, and without contacting anyone. Our auto-recovery safety net looks after unsaved work as you type, and rebuilds your session on the next launch — every tab that was open, in order, with uncommitted text back in the buffer. Tabs holding unsaved work wear a leading asterisk. If the app ended badly and left snapshots for tabs that are no longer open, each one reopens by itself the next time you launch.
A file opened as garbled characters. What now?
The file is almost certainly not UTF-8. Use File ▸ Encoding ▸ Reload with Encoding… and pick the encoding it was actually written in — Windows-1252 and Shift JIS are the usual answers. Reloading simply shows you what is on disk — it never changes the file. Only Convert to Encoding… changes what will be written.
Does Note My send anything anywhere?
The app contains no networking code of its own; the only network activity is performed by Apple’s own system services, to establish purchases and transactions state. There is no account, no sign-up, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting and no update checker. It is fully sandboxed and touches only the files you open.
Which macOS versions are supported?
macOS 13.0 or later.
Where are the Terms and the Privacy Policy?
The Terms of Use and End User License Agreement, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy are all on this site, and the same documents are shown inside the app before first use.
